At some point, visiting national parks stops being a vacation and quietly becomes a hobby.
Maybe it’s the passport stamps. Maybe it’s collecting maps. Maybe it’s convincing yourself that one more visitor center is definitely worth the detour.
These aren’t the things you need for a national park trip. They’re the things that make being a national park enthusiast even more fun.
For National Park Lovers
Wander Club Tokens
Each year, I order tokens for the parks I visited and add them to my keychain. For an additional fee, you can get the tokens engraved, so I get the park number (which number park it was that I visited) and the date I visited. You can get just the tokens, or you can also get a high quality token holder (and add your initials).

National Park Sign Stickers
One part of visiting national parks that is so important to me now, is getting a photo with the national park sign. When I stumbled upon this pack of stickers that included a sticker for each sign, I couldn’t tell you how quickly I hit “add to cart”! The full stick pack sells out, but you can also purchase individual stickers.
Check them out from National Parks Guide in their shop here:

A Custom National Park Map
After starting my personal goal of visiting 40 parks before I turn 40, I found this map where I could add trees to mark the parks I had visited. It’s a simple and visually stunning way to show off your travels without overwhelming a whole wall with photos and trinkets. I’m linking the Etsy store I ordered mine from: check it out on Etsy

Old-Fashioned Glass Park Sign Ornaments
One of the few things I collect from National Parks are ornaments, and I love these glass ornaments from Old World Christmas because they are shaped like the park entrance signs! They don’t have an ornament for every park, but most of the heavy hitters: Bryce Canyon, Rocky Mountain, Grand Canyon, Acadia, Great Smoky Mountains, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Glacier, Sequoia.
